Uniforms |
The OHS Band has two primary uniforms. One is a traditional marching band uniform (pictured at left). The other is a very formal Scottish Kilt (pictured at right). Every performance requires fitting, preparation, distribution, collection, and cataloging of the uniforms. During Band Camp, in August, the all of the students are measured and fitted with a Marching Uniform and a Scottish Kilt. The fitting normally takes several sessions, some in the evening during the first week and some in the daytime during the second week. If you would like to be part of the uniform team, either during Band Camp, or throughout the year, please contact the Uniform Committee chairperson. Managing the uniforms is a big job and additional parents are always welcome. |
